About The Position

Techno is looking for an IT Network Support II professional to support a large, high-profile infrastructure program across New York and New Jersey. This role will provide hands-on technical support for network operations, end-user systems, connectivity issues, and IT infrastructure within a fast-paced project environment supporting multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with experience supporting enterprise-level network environments, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining reliable day-to-day IT operations across multiple office and project locations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT support or network support experience within enterprise or project-based environments.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and wireless systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows operating systems, and common IT service management tools.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and troubleshooting workflows in fast-paced support environments.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-site office operations and network infrastructure preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure, workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related hardware/software systems.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including VPN access, wireless networks, switches, routers, and remote access environments.
  • Support user account administration, permissions management, password resets, and system access requests.
  • Coordinate installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of network and IT equipment across office and field locations.
  • Monitor network performance and assist in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving system or connectivity issues.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities including workstation setup, software installation, and equipment deployment.
  • Maintain accurate IT inventory records, asset tracking, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external IT providers to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Assist with cybersecurity best practices, software updates, system patching, and data protection procedures.
  • Support conference room technology, video conferencing platforms, and hybrid meeting environments.
  • Participate in after-hours or emergency support activities when required for critical operations.
