Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on IT support
  • At least 3 years of experience in a hands‑on IT role, including end‑user support and equipment deployment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows systems, and account administration
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical users
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commitment to providing excellent, patient, and people‑centered support
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between Avivo sites

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating with IT vendors or managed service providers
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and HIPAA‑regulated environments

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staff technology support across all Avivo locations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, hardware, phones, and connectivity
  • Coordinate with external IT partners for ticket escalation, projects, and system improvements
  • Set up, deploy, and maintain computers, phones, and equipment for new and existing staff
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
  • Monitor systems performance and provide first‑level support for networks, VPNs, and connectivity issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment, licenses, and systems documentation
  • Support cybersecurity efforts, including MFA, endpoint protection, and HIPAA compliance practices
  • Translate technical information into clear, accessible language for staff at all levels
  • Contribute to a secure, responsive, and user‑focused technology environment that supports Avivo’s mission
