About The Position

The IT Manager supervises all aspects of IT operations at the facility, including performing installations, upgrades, and maintenance on network infrastructure such as switches and servers. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems, performing systems administration, and maintaining network documentation and a log of support requests. The IT Manager supports critical business systems, assembles and documents IT inventory, and ensures customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, physicians and vendors.
  • Experience with Windows 11, ConnectWise, Windows OS, Active Directory, and O365.
  • Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Hyper-V, IIS and Remote Desktop Services experience, Backup management, Office 365 Admin Suite, SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Ability to address problems continuously and work through to resolution.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends or at customer site is required.
  • Must be open to learning new skills and mastering new systems.
  • IT degree or bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT position
  • Demonstrated IT systems, networks, hardware and software.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the facility’s ideology, mission, goals, and objectives; supports AI Credo.

  • Adds/removes active directory users/groups.
  • Sets up and validates security permissions to ensure data security policies are properly enforced.
  • Sets up and validates group policy on domain for security and function as needed.
  • Keeps servers/workstations/software, EMR and all components up to date with security and application patches.
  • Performs installations, upgrades and maintenance on network infrastructure including components such as PCs, servers, network routers, switches and backup systems.
  • Manages email systems and addresses related support requests.
  • Manages Data/Server backups.
  • Validates Backup Sets and monitors backup function/success.
  • Tests/Validates restore and Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Audits local and domain user accounts/group memberships/ security permissions.
  • Manages/maintains/audits firewall protecting WAN connections.
  • Manages wired and wireless internal networks.
  • Manages/maintains/audits external connectivity such as VPNs and remote access.
  • Manages/updates/monitors Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware security software.
  • Manages/updates Hardware/Software inventory.
  • Creates and updates network documentation, including hardware/software inventory, vendor information, licenses and service agreements.
  • Assists in technology budgeting and planning.
  • Assists in risk assessments.
  • Performs installations, upgrades and maintenance on network infrastructure including switches and servers.
  • Coordinates with contracted IT vendor for support as needed.
  • Contributes to the progress and development of the organization’s adopted compliance program.
  • Performs according to established compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensures all HIPAA and IT regulations are implemented and followed.
  • Remains current on all federal and state guidelines related to IT and IT security.
  • Adheres to safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities.
  • Reports observed or suspected safety violations, hazards, and policy/procedure noncompliance to Administrator.
  • Participates in continuing education and other learning experiences.
  • Shares knowledge gained in continuing education with staff.
  • Maintains membership in relevant professional organizations.
  • Seeks new learning experiences by accepting challenging opportunities and responsibilities.
