IT Manager

Cleartelligence
$110,000 - $125,000Remote

About The Position

The IT Manager is the primary architect and steward of our technology infrastructure, systems security, and digital productivity environment. This hands-on technical leader plans and executes the IT roadmap, ensures business continuity through robust backup and disaster recovery strategies, manages vendor relationships and the IT budget, and serves as the primary escalation point for all technology matters across the organization — partnering with every department to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of progressive IT administration and management experience, ideally within an organization that is larger in scale or navigating growth and change.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID) at scale, plus 3+ years administering Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience administering Salesforce and/or NetSuite, and configuring SSO integrations (SAML/OIDC/OAuth 2.0) via Entra ID or an equivalent identity provider.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise backup solutions (Commvault strongly preferred), IT budgets, and vendor/software asset lifecycles. Specific platform experience can be substituted for a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, hybrid identity management, and identity federation protocols (SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM).
  • Solid understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure RBAC, Azure Policy, and Azure Monitor; PowerShell scripting for automation; working knowledge of core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, firewalls).
  • Experience with endpoint management (Intune, SCCM, or Jamf) and ITSM/ticketing platforms (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or equivalent); understanding of IT security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001).
  • Familiarity with our broader SaaS environment, including Tableau, Snowflake, Salesforce, NetSuite, Atlassian, DocuSign, AWS, and GitHub.

Nice To Haves

  • A strategic thought partner on IT security, compliance, and risk — not just an implementer — who evaluates IT structure and investment against company objectives (profit, timing, risk) and where the organization is headed.
  • Curious and AI/tech-forward, with ideas for applying AI and other emerging technology to improve the business.
  • Leadership attributes: ownership, accountability, and the ability to communicate and build trust across every level of the organization.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and shifting priorities.
  • High customer-service orientation and comfort with ambiguity; a self-starter who stays organized without close direction.
  • Certifications preferred: MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300, CompTIA Security+, CISSP/CISM, ITIL Foundation, Salesforce Certified Administrator, and/or Commvault Certified Associate or Professional.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end administration, governance, and security of Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID, and end-user computing, including SSO integrations for enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategy to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage the IT budget, vendor contracts, and software asset lifecycle across the SaaS portfolio.
  • Oversee AWS cloud administration, including IAM, cost controls, and security configuration.
  • Lead IT projects end-to-end — migrations, platform deployments, infrastructure upgrades — with cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for technology issues and help desk operations, and as a thought partner to leadership on IT security, compliance, risk, and productivity.

Benefits

  • The anticipated annual base salary is between $110,000 - $125,000 annually. Final pay rate will be determined based on experience, qualifications and geographic location
