About The Position

The IT Manager serves on the Application Service Delivery Team as the “front door” to support effective integration and alignment with Lumexa Imaging business and clinical needs. This role reports to the Director of Application Service Delivery and collaborates closely with Service Delivery Managers and Solution Architecture Teams. This is not a remote position; at least 50% of the time will be spent rounding in various sites to facilitate frontline interaction with business units and clinical operations on the effectiveness and status of Technology investments and ongoing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Three years or more leading Technology/Business management activities of varying complexity and scope.
  • Experience in the field of Radiology (clinically, operationally or technically, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in communicating with key stakeholders at senior levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing requirements and interests, keep team focused on top priorities, and find ways to achieve win-win or obtain acceptance/consensus for best compromise.

Responsibilities

  • Aligns with business and clinical leaders to understand business/clinical objectives, strategies, and appropriate supporting/enabling technologies.
  • Supports the demand intake process for business or clinical technology projects requests, including the collection of business/clinical requirements, development of project requests, and forwarding of information to the Technology Team for execution.
  • Tracks the status of all planned or in-flight technology projects for a given Lumexa Imaging region and prepares/provides reports to Lumexa Imaging business/clinical leaders on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Secures technology operations and performance reports, including service level agreement (SLA) performance reports, for a specific region and distributes/presents them to appropriate business and/or clinical leaders.
  • Identifies and communicates areas of focus and continuous improvement opportunities to the Technology Team based on region-specific technology experience feedback.
  • Provides input for Technology Team Product Owners based on region-specific clinical or business needs, strategies, and trends, who will work with technology vendors on key clinical needs, required features, and research for product development roadmaps.
  • Supports the preparation and distribution of region-specific communications, including change coordination, technology maintenance windows, system outages, system outage updates, and service restorations.
  • Understands and applies core business and clinical processes and how each is enabled through Technology capabilities.
  • Understands how to define/review high-level business requirements to describe business needs and solution scope.
  • Gains knowledge of prior investments in similar solutions and the degree of success/lessons learned from those initiatives.
  • Understands fundamental business and clinical segment goals, strategies, and plans, as well as business unit critical success factors.
  • Ensures that Technology is consulted early in the product/process lifecycle and can provide initial feedback to the business, integrating with business segment staff meetings.
  • Understands, describes, and facilitates discussion of the rationale that supports business segment prioritization of a proposed solution.
  • Represents and guides business and clinical customers through the Technology project budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Guides clinical/business leaders through the Technology governance/decisioning process at key decision points, representing and advising the business owner of projects by understanding the business case, alternatives, limitations, constraints, dependencies, and benefits of the proposed solution in terms of TCO and business-based return.
  • Works with Key Business stakeholders to facilitate and bridge communication and facilitate Technology change with the Technology organization.
  • Assists with review and approval of invoices within the assigned scope of approval to ensure prompt processing and payment in accordance with approved vendor contract terms and conditions.
  • Understands value realization, and the measurement and reporting of value realization.
  • Understands the business case development process and can oversee its execution.
  • Understands how to establish a common definition of value for business and Technology and communicate it to leaders.
  • Understands how to increase alignment of Technology metrics and associated reporting to business-Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and SLAs, focusing on the value contribution of Technology activities.
  • Unites effective teams that understand and commit to organizational goals; fosters goodwill and collaboration; uses teams to address issues; leads by example.
  • Supports new Lumexa Imaging programs actively through participation, engagement, and coaching.
