About The Position

Michels Corporation is seeking an IT Manager for Engineering Services to lead and expand its enterprise CAD/BIM and GIS programs. This role will build upon existing technologies, standards, and workflows to support project delivery across multiple engineering and project controls disciplines and business units. The successful candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts to drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization. Requirements

Experience in leading and expanding enterprise CAD/BIM and GIS programs.

Experience in defining and owning strategy and multi-year roadmaps for IT capabilities in Engineering and Geospatial Data (GIS).

Experience leading cross-functional programs to enhance, modernize, or optimize platforms.
Experience facilitating a team of delivery subject matter experts across divisions.
Experience promoting consistency and efficiency across all divisions and disciplines.
Experience leading adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Experience providing strategic oversight and governance for the collection, processing, management, and integration of GIS datasets, LiDAR data, Point clouds, BIM datasets, Photogrammetry products, and Digital terrain models.
Experience ensuring proper integration of GIS and BIM data into relevant PMIS, Engineering or relevant workflows.
Experience supporting project teams in selecting the appropriate technology, software, and equipment for project-specific applications.
Experience serving as the primary contact for delivery and geospatial technology initiatives.
Experience managing maintenance, calibration, licensing, upgrades, and replacement planning.
Experience positioning a company as a leader in engineering technology, geospatial services, and digital project delivery.

Responsibilities

Define and own the strategy and multi-year roadmap for assigned IT capabilities for Engineering and Geospatial Data (GIS).
Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into prioritized initiatives.
