Michels Corporation is seeking an IT Manager for Engineering Services to lead and expand its enterprise CAD/BIM and GIS programs. This role involves building upon existing technologies, standards, and workflows to support project delivery across various engineering, project controls, and business units. The successful candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts to drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization. Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategy and multi-year roadmap for assigned IT capabilities for Engineering and Geospatial Data (GIS).
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into prioritized initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional programs to enhance, modernize, or optimize platforms.
• Facilitate a team of delivery subject matter experts across divisions.
• Promote consistency and efficiency across all divisions and disciplines.
• Lead adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Provide strategic oversight and governance for the collection, processing, management, and integration of GIS datasets, LiDAR data, Point clouds, BIM datasets, Photogrammetry products, and Digital terrain models.
• Ensure proper integration of GIS and BIM data into relevant PMIS, Engineering or relevant workflows.
• Support project teams in selecting the appropriate technology, software, and equipment for project-specific applications.
• Serve as the primary contact for delivery and geospatial technology initiatives.
• Manage maintenance, calibration, licensing, upgrades, and replacement planning.
• Help position the company as a leader in engineering technology, geospatial services, and digital project delivery.
