This position will need experience in Hypervisor, Storage, Backups, Citrix and Certificate Management. The Manager IT Engineering leads cross-functional teams through all aspects of project planning, implementation and completion. They manage project implementation schedules, analyze plan variances, and take appropriate action to ensure successful completion. This role establishes detailed work plans and estimates for all project phases, monitors progress against baseline plans, and facilitates timely resolution of issues. The Manager IT Engineering also assists with the appropriate integration of technology, ensuring initiatives align with key business drivers and goals. They create, monitor, and manage staffing levels and production expectations to meet needs. Additionally, this role works with vendors to resolve product issues, provides product development guidance, escalates major vendor service issues, establishes service level agreements, and resolves deficiencies. They provide status and issue updates to end-user management and key stakeholders and promote continued research into new technologies and solutions. This position also performs human resources responsibilities for staff, including interviewing, selection, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, issue resolution, corrective actions, terminations, and employee morale. Finally, they develop and recommend operating and capital budgets and control expenditures within approved budget objectives, and are responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct.
