About The Position

Empower AI is seeking an IT Logistics Specialist (COMSEC Certified) to manage receiving, warehousing, equipment movement, and disposition decisions for an enterprise IT Customer Support Services program supporting a Department of War agency with headquarters, regional, field, and training locations. The specialist evaluates deliveries and determines acceptance or discrepancy actions, determines documentation and secure-handling requirements (including certified COMSEC handling), plans staging and shipping for deployments and field sites, manages the bench stock program through consumption analysis and replenishment recommendations, plans authorized equipment relocations, and determines disposition paths for end-of-life equipment through DRMO, all while keeping inventory records accurate and audit-ready in coordination with the Government's Logistics Management Office. This is a salaried, FLSA-exempt position in which you will independently analyze situations, determine the appropriate course of action, and exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance to the program and its customers. THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE IN QUANTICO, VA (RKB) WITH UP TO 15% OF TRAVEL INVOLVED.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience (an additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted for the degree).
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an Active Secret Clearance (favorably adjudicated T3/T3R) to start.
Must be willing and able to obtain Top Secret eligibility after start , if required by mission needs.
Must be within investigation scope and/or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation / Continuous Vetting.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze problems, determine the appropriate course of action, and exercise discretion and independent judgment with limited day-to-day supervision.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT logistics , supply, warehousing, shipping/receiving, or property accountability, preferably in a DoD environment.
Experience with receiving inspection, receiving documentation, and inventory transaction systems (e.g., DPAS, ServiceNow Asset Management, or similar).
Working knowledge of DoD property accountability, DRMO turn-in procedures, and shipping regulations for IT equipment and batteries.
Eligibility to obtain COMSEC Courier Authorization and experience with or willingness to be trained in COMSEC material handling procedures.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds, operate pallet jacks and hand trucks, and travel to regional sites as pre-approved (up to 15% of the time); valid driver's license.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Must hold or be able to obtain COMSEC Courier Authorization and complete required COMSEC handling training; prior COMSEC custodian/alternate or courier experience strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

IAITAM CHAMP, APICS/ASCM CLTD, or DAU logistics coursework; forklift certification.
Experience supporting Department of War ( DoW ), DoD, or Intelligence Community IT programs.
Experience with WAWF/PIEE, IUID marking and registry, and MIRR/DD 250 processes.
Experience supporting printer fleet relocations and communications equipment installations.
Familiarity with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) practices and counterfeit-part detection ( validating genuine, unaltered components).
Familiarity with ServiceNow and Power BI reporting.

Responsibilities

Evaluate inbound IT equipment and materials against purchase orders and approved RIPs, determine acceptance, discrepancy, or rejection actions, certify receipt, and coordinate accountability and tagging with the Government's Logistics Management Office.
Determine the receiving documentation and acceptance process for each delivery, including MIRR support and DD Form 250 only when explicitly , and WAWF invoice support for IT Materials CLIN purchases.
Plan equipment staging, kitting, and shipping for deployments, refreshes, field sites, and training centers, determining packaging, carrier, routing, chain-of-custody, and secure handling requirements, including COMSEC material handled under NSA policy.
Manage the IT stockroom and bench stock program: analyze issue, return, and consumption data, determine reorder points and replenishment quantities, and prepare the monthly bench stock review and consolidated replenishment RIP recommendation.
Plan and coordinate authorized relocations of printers, workstations, and communications equipment, determining sequencing, resources, and post-move testing requirements.
Assess end-of-life, defective, and damaged equipment to determine disposition path, sanitization coordination, and documentation, and manage DRMO turn-in as directed.
Analyze inventory transaction data across the asset management system and CMDB, identify discrepancies and process gaps, and determine corrective actions and control improvements.
Develop and maintain logistics standard operating procedures, shipping and hazardous material handling compliance, and logistics metrics for the Quarterly Lifecycle and License Management Report and Monthly Contract Performance Report.
