About The Position

As an IT Logistics Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of IT equipment between warehouse locations and multiple customer sites. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of critical IT assets that support daily business operations. You will play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule while maintaining strong communication with both warehouse teams and on-site stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or transportation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and accountability
  • Physical ability to lift and move IT equipment safely
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
  • Experience handling or transporting IT equipment
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware and terminology
  • Experience with route optimization and multi-stop delivery schedules

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle along a designated “milk run” route to multiple work sites
  • Transport IT equipment securely, ensuring damage-free delivery and handling
  • Load and unload equipment with care, following proper handling procedures
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and ensure timely pickups and drop-off
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate and complete order loading
  • Communicate professionally with on-site personnel during deliveries
  • Report delays, issues, or schedule changes to the logistics coordinator in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of delivered, transferred, and returned IT equipment
  • Complete delivery documentation, receipts, and logbooks accurately and on time
  • Ensure proper chain-of-custody and tracking of all assets
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safe driving practices
  • Follow company protocols for handling, transporting, and securing IT equipment
  • Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training as required
