About The Position

The IT Licensing Technician keeps the licensing engine running by owning the high-volume day-to-day activities. In this role, you'll handle request intake/fulfillment, inventory tracking, basic VAR coordination, and off-the-shelf software support. This high-ownership role ensures engineers receive tools quickly during critical campaigns.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
1+ years of professional experience in IT support, licensing operations, or asset tracking.
Must be available for the following shift: Monday to Friday (9:00AM - 5:00PM)
Must have valid driver's license.
Must be willing to work overtime, and/or weekends as needed.
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline.
Strong organization skills and ability to handle high request volume in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with spreadsheets, basic tracking tools, and attention to detail.
Solid communication skills with technical teams and vendors.
Exposure to software tools in aerospace/engineering environments.
Experience in high-growth or high-cadence operations.
Familiarity with basic licensing models or inventory systems.

Responsibilities

Process high-volume license and user requests with speed and accuracy.
Manage inventory, track counts, and flag issues early.
Handle one-off/off-the-shelf software procurement, deployment, and maintenance.
Partner with VARs for basic allocations and operational support.
Generate simple usage reports and maintain records.
Take repetitive toil/churn off Analysts and continuously reduce friction for users.
Coordinate with IT Services for seamless delivery.
