About The Position

The HOP IT Team acts as a trusted partner to all business areas of Hermès Americas, leading technology delivery, innovation, and support across the regional systems landscape. This involves maintaining technical infrastructure, delivering sustainable technology solutions, supporting enterprise systems, participating in global initiatives, providing end-user support, and enabling information security and compliance. The Generation H internship program offers a chance to gain real-world professional experience, complement academic studies, attend a guest-speaker series, partner with a mentor, network with stakeholders, and collaborate on a capstone project. The internship is scheduled from July 13th to December 18th, 2026, and can be Full-Time or Part-Time. All internships are in-person at the Hermès US corporate headquarters in New York City, with interns paid an hourly rate of US $20.00. Full-Time internships are 37.5 hours per week, and Part-Time internships are between 15 and 35 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree program, ideally in a field related to the internship

Responsibilities

  • Support with IT equipment needs in the NY corporate office, including physically placing computers, monitors, and peripherals at designated user workstations.
  • Configure laptops for users, ensuring all necessary software and applications are installed and functional.
  • Assist with setting up users on network systems, including creating user accounts, assigning permissions, and ensuring access to necessary resources.
  • Map printers to users' workstations, ensuring proper connectivity and functionality.
  • Update software and firmware on all devices to comply with standards and security protocols.
  • Help with setting up email accounts and configure computer profiles for users.
  • Provide user training and support for IT-related tasks and systems.
  • Help coordinate and schedule office activities related to IT, such as equipment deliveries, installations, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues or challenges encountered during the office move project, escalating as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT-related tasks, configurations, and user setups.
  • Cross-collaborate with various IT partners to gain exposure to different facets of IT.
