The IT Intern will support the Information Technology organization by assisting with day-to-day operational activities, system support, testing, security, and project-based work. This role provides hands-on experience across core IT functions while contributing to ongoing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. The intern will work under the guidance of IT Managers, Project Managers, and Technical Leads.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in information technology and technology-enabled business processes
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts, systems, or security principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or experience related to software testing, quality assurance, or cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, testing tools, or basic scripting
  • Interest in enterprise systems, business applications, or IT security

Responsibilities

  • Assist IT team members with assigned tasks, analysis, documentation, and operational support
  • Participate in IT projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives
  • Support testing activities such as test case execution, defect tracking, and results documentation
  • Assist with basic security-related tasks such as access reviews, documentation, compliance support, and control validation
  • Provide first-line support assistance to IT teams and end users as directed
  • Follow established IT processes, standards, and security policies
  • Document procedures, findings, and recommendations clearly and accurately
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet project timelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by IT leadership or project teams
