Responsibilities

  • Assist with monitoring network performance, availability, and security using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Support troubleshooting of wired and wireless network connectivity issues across hospital systems.
  • Assist in maintaining network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Help track and document network incidents, service requests, and resolutions.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and testing of network hardware and software.
  • Assist with network upgrades, patching, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
  • Participate in routine network health checks and system audits.
  • Maintain documentation related to network topology, device configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Support development of internal knowledge base resources for IT teams.
  • Assist in documenting network standards and operational procedures.
  • Support monitoring of network security alerts and assist with escalation procedures when necessary.
  • Assist with implementation of security best practices aligned with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA).
  • Participate in vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking under supervision.
  • Work alongside network engineers and IT professionals to gain hands-on exposure to enterprise networking environments.
  • Participate in team meetings, technical training sessions, and project planning discussions.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Clinical Systems teams.
