About The Position
Christian Brothers Services (CBS) is a nonprofit organization providing health, retirement, risk, and consulting solutions to Catholic organizations nationwide. With more than 250 employees, CBS delivers mission-driven services through strong financial stewardship and operational excellence. We are seeking a motivated IT Intern – Development & Design to support the Development & Design team within the Information Technology Services (ITS) division. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting application testing, data analysis, and technology development initiatives. This is a structured, paid summer internship designed to provide meaningful work experience and direct mentorship. Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Familiarity with software testing concepts or development environments
- Experience working with data and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Student applicants must have completed their sophomore year of college prior to the start of the internship (i.e. you must be an incoming college Junior or Senior)
Responsibilities
- Assist with testing applications and documenting results to ensure system functionality and accuracy
- Analyze data and create reports to support system performance and operational needs
- Support documentation of testing results and technical processes
- Collaborate with IT team members to support ongoing technology initiatives
- Assist with troubleshooting and identifying issues during testing cycles
- Support application development activities as needed
