About The Position

The IT Intern role offers structured learning experiences, practical skill development, and mentorship opportunities for individuals interested in learning an IT discipline. This role will directly contribute to HC3’s IT team goals while offering practical, hands-on experience with a variety of IT sub-disciplines.

Requirements

• Able to follow instructions and work under supervision
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Makes effective use of time and completes tasks efficiently and on time
• Self-starter and self-directed while able to collaborate effectively within a team, as well as follow company policies, processes, and procedures

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to college students pursuing degrees in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering data related to hardware and software inventory.
• Ensure inventory processes capture all relevant and necessary information for IT hardware and software assets.
• Collate and store data within IT systems to improve the IT team's ability to quickly find and access relevant information.
• Provide a comprehensive view of the IT environment to support more effective long-term strategic planning.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support current IT team workload and projects.
