About The Position

The IT Integration Communications Specialist is responsible for ensuring proper installation, testing, and turn-up of technical assets; addressing design deficiencies in the field; and producing redesigns or modifications to proposed designs. The role coordinates and directs third-party vendor support when escalation is required. Positions are offered at Specialist II, Specialist III, and Specialist Senior levels, with experience requirements varying by level. The work involves installing, assembling, repairing, adjusting, testing, and turning up telecommunications equipment and systems, including wired and wireless communications, microwave, RF, IP networks, voice and data communications, VoIP, cameras, Wi-Fi, fiber optics, and WAN/FAN/LAN technologies. The specialist troubleshoots and designs repairs for telecommunications and computer-aided equipment, uses diagnostic and testing tools, manages systems remotely, and performs end-to-end circuit testing across fiber, microwave, and copper media. The position may lead significant construction projects, track milestones, report project status, recommend plan changes, and represent the assigned unit in cross-unit initiatives. This is an onsite field and/or APS-facility role. Employees are expected to reside in Arizona, except Four Corners-based employees may reside in New Mexico.
