About The Position

As an IT Infrastructure and Security Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our infrastructure and security environment—ensuring systems are resilient, risks are managed, and technology continues to enable the organization’s mission with confidence and integrity.

Requirements

  • post-secondary education in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • minimum of 3 years in infrastructure and/or security roles within hybrid environments.
  • experience with Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure).
  • strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls
  • experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
  • experience with security practices including IAM, patching, and vulnerability management.
  • strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • relevant certifications: CISSP, CEH, Microsoft Azure
  • familiarity with security frameworks: CIS, NIST, ISO 27001.
  • experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

  • support and maintain CCGA’s infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
  • monitor systems and proactively identify risks, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities.
  • implement and manage security controls, including patching, access management, and endpoint protection.
  • support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and documentation of infrastructure and security events.
  • administer server and virtualization environments, including backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • respond to and support resolution of infrastructure and security incidents.
  • provide end-user support and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver effective technology solutions.
  • contribute to continuous improvement through enhanced processes, documentation, and system resilience.
