About The Position

As an IT Infrastructure and Security Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our infrastructure and security environment—ensuring systems are resilient, risks are managed, and technology continues to enable the organization’s mission with confidence and integrity.

Requirements

post-secondary education in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
minimum of 3 years in infrastructure and/or security roles within hybrid environments.
experience with Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure).
strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls
experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
experience with security practices including IAM, patching, and vulnerability management.
strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice To Haves

relevant certifications: CISSP, CEH, Microsoft Azure
familiarity with security frameworks: CIS, NIST, ISO 27001.
experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

support and maintain CCGA’s infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
monitor systems and proactively identify risks, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities.
implement and manage security controls, including patching, access management, and endpoint protection.
support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and documentation of infrastructure and security events.
administer server and virtualization environments, including backup and disaster recovery processes.
respond to and support resolution of infrastructure and security incidents.
provide end-user support and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver effective technology solutions.
contribute to continuous improvement through enhanced processes, documentation, and system resilience.
