About The Position

The IT Infrastructure Engineer designs, builds, and supports the infrastructure behind Crenlo’s plants in Watertown, South Dakota; Rochester, Minnesota; and Greeneville, Tennessee, as well as the corporate office in Bentonville, Arkansas. The role owns systems including VMware, Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, backup, and datacenter operations. It also serves as the next-level resource for network escalation, design, engineering, and implementation, while the Network Administrator handles day-to-day network operations. Production depends on this infrastructure, making uptime, security, and fast recovery central priorities. The position reports to the IT Operations Manager and works closely with the helpdesk and Network Administration. The successful candidate is comfortable in manufacturing environments, can explain technical issues clearly, troubleshoots to root cause, and maintains thorough documentation. The position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas, with up to 20% travel between Crenlo facilities. It includes an on-call rotation and required after-hours maintenance, exposure to manufacturing-floor environments, and the ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
