About The Position

The IT Help Desk role at John H. Carter Co., Inc. involves managing communication efforts, both internal and external, to ensure clarity and timeliness for all stakeholders. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for communication efforts, both internal and external, to ensure clarity and timeliness for all parties/stakeholders.
  • Schedule and complete installations, patches, and upgrades.
  • Perform on-the-spot client/server maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Provide application support and troubleshooting of MS Windows platforms.
  • Support users in the installation, setup, and maintenance of MS Office Application Suite and its components.
  • Participate in a call-out schedule for troubleshooting and resolution activities, both remotely and on-site.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follow John H. Carter Co., Inc. policies, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with development and support staff to maintain thorough product knowledge and ensure precise communications.
  • Perform basic TCP/IP network troubleshooting.
  • Handle system installation, integration, and implementation of new hardware and software components.
  • Run programs per standard operating procedures.
  • Print reports and perform other tasks as directed by the IT Manager.
