About The Position

Magnolia Health Systems is seeking a reliable and energetic IT Help Desk Technician to join our team. The IT Help Desk Technician position will be located at the corporate office in Indianapolis, IN. This role will provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or ticketing system. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, applications, and user accounts in alignment with company standards. The technician will manage and prioritize help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation, and assist with onboarding and offboarding processes. Maintaining and supporting network connectivity, including basic troubleshooting of Wi-Fi, VPN, and remote access issues, is also a key part of the role. Ensuring data security and confidentiality by following company policies and escalating complex technical issues as needed are crucial. The role also involves maintaining an inventory of IT equipment and coordinating repairs or replacements.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Windows environments, Active Directory, and network infrastructure
  • Proven ability to manage vendors and IT projects
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience overseeing multi-site operations strongly preferred
  • Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or ticketing system

  • Ensure data security and confidentiality by following company policies related to system access and protected information
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate internal teams or external vendors as needed
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements
