About The Position

H&H Color Lab is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to join their small team. This role is one of the primary points of contact for IT-related queries at the user level, ensuring the optimal running of all systems. The technician will respond to user needs in a timely manner, work with and take direction from the Systems Administrator, and work on projects as assigned by the IT Manager.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong professional work ethic
  • Be comfortable in a Lean / Agile work environment

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Worked in a manufacturing company environment
  • Familiarity with Azure IaaS
  • Lean training/exposure/experience

Responsibilities

  • Display good interpersonal skills in interacting with colleagues from various departments and management
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and in-person requests for technical support
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware
  • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues
  • Managing technical documentation and track/document tasks in Jira
