About The Position

Intuitive Machines is seeking an IT Help Desk & Systems Administrator to provide hands-on technical support while assisting with the administration and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure. This role combines end-user support with systems administration responsibilities, ensuring employees have reliable access to the technology and services they need to support critical aerospace missions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, systems administration, or a combination of both.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments, computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software.
  • Experience administering Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, and user account lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Group Policy, file and print services, and endpoint management tools.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, switching, and wireless networking.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management platforms.
  • Understanding of NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliance requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to support server, rack, UPS, and infrastructure installations.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve break/fix incidents in a timely manner.
  • Manage and update support tickets within the IT service management system to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Support end-user devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, conference room technology, and engineering workstations.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, business applications, and endpoint software.
  • Administer user accounts, security groups, permissions, and access within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Assist with administration and maintenance of Windows servers, file shares, print services, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and virtualization environments.
  • Perform workstation imaging, deployments, software installations, patch management, and endpoint updates.
  • Support server, network, UPS, and rack-mounted hardware installations, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Coordinate hardware repairs and warranty support with vendors as needed.
  • Monitor system health, perform routine maintenance, and assist with backup and recovery operations.
  • Document troubleshooting procedures, system configurations, and knowledge base articles.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of IT hardware, software licenses, and equipment.
