IT Help Desk Associate
About The Position

As a Help Desk Associate you will provide first-level support to inquiries made to the IT Help Desk, troubleshoot and repair computer systems and hardware, and track and assist the IT staff with resolving IT-related issues. The pay range for this position starts at $15.93 per hour, with relevant education and experience considered in determining the starting pay rate.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: At least one year experience in technical support.
- Attention to detail and follow up skills.
- Computer hardware and software support skills, including mastery of Microsoft Suite.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Resume and cover letter required.
Responsibilities
- Positively respond to all inquiries made to the IT Help Desk and provide first-level support.
- Troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- Perform or obtain assistance for computer/printer repairs.
- Develop checklists, guides, and documentation to assist with future support resolutions.
- Monitor daily system reports.
- Assist in training and educating credit union staff regarding computer upgrades.
- Document repairs, incidents, and procedures for IT-related activities.
- Installs and tests computer-related equipment.
- Performs selected system administration for Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, and on-premises/cloud-based applications.
- Assists in maintaining system inventory.
