Requirements

  • 2+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the field or in a related area is helpful.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern scripting frameworks to engineer automated pipelines and end-to-end API integrations is preferred.
  • Industry Certifications such as MCSE, MCP, A+ or N+ is preferred.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Strong customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to systematically troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work independently.
  • Familiar with all operating systems and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Thirst for knowledge and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Documenting diagnostic procedures and solutions in ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with computers, software, and hardware, either remotely or in person.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware, including operating systems and enterprise applications.
  • Managing network configurations and assisting with connectivity issues.
  • Utilize scripting and methods for Report Generation.
  • Assist with employee onboarding by setting up workstations, configuring software, and managing IT inventory.
  • Assist with employee termination procedures.
  • Providing user training and guidance on new software, hardware, or IT policies.
  • Escalating complex issues to IT Director when necessary.
  • Provide assistance to meet facility requirements.
  • Coordination of facility contractors.
  • Assist in the setup of desks and other work environments.
  • Ensure maintenance schedules are met.
