About The Position
The IT Generalist intern will primarily support data analysis and data management initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on working with structured datasets, generating reports, supporting operational insights, and assisting with systems that enable effective data-driven decision-making. The position combines analytical work with technical system support in a Microsoft-based environment.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and visualization
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: Formulas (e.g., lookups), Pivot tables, Basic data transformations
- Experience using Microsoft PowerShell
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act)
- Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) at the start of employment
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Intune
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
Responsibilities
- Work with structured datasets to support operational and organizational needs
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and insights that support business or operational decision-making
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports using Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Perform basic data transformations, validation, and cleanup to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Support data management activities within Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including data quality, structure, and reporting support
- Assist with data organization, documentation, and governance practices
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to data processes and system usage
- Use Microsoft PowerShell for basic automation, reporting support, or system-related tasks
- Support system administration tasks related to data and reporting environments
- Provide technical support related to data systems and reporting tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs and translate them into actionable outputs
