About The Position

Ford Office Technologies is growing, and we are seeking a dependable and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team and support our client in Robinson Twp, PA. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves desktop/PC setup, Tier 1 level support, setting up and configuring new computer equipment per client specifications, prioritizing and resolving issues that arise, installing EDR and Remote Management tools, monitoring alerts for alarms via documented procedure and escalating to senior team members as needed, and receiving, processing, and inventorying client equipment shipped to Ascent Data.

Requirements

• Proof of Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Experience with Windows Desktop Support.
• At least one year of experience in a technical support role.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server Systems Administration to include Active Directory Users and Computers, SMB Network Share Permissions, and Print Server Management.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• Bachelor or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant experience.
• Proven software and basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with all Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work and set goals with little supervision.
• Strong customer service, communication and writing skills

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with servers is a "nice to have".
