About The Position

This role involves managing the daily operations of computer peripherals and desktop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting for various office equipment and software. The IT Engineer will also be responsible for network equipment, internet, and Wi-Fi management, ensuring network uptime, security, and performance. This includes replacing and updating network devices, proposing new network projects, and managing IT assets. Additionally, the role requires assisting with new employee computer setups, managing access for terminated employees, overseeing the security camera system, and managing customer portal user access.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or closely related discipline
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operation of computer peripherals and desktop systems maintenance.
Solve hardware and software problems encountered with computer, printer, scanner, monitor, conference meeting equipment, and related office and design software.
Conduct network equipment, internet, and Wi-Fi management and maintenance.
Troubleshoot and fix network issues, ensure network uptime, security, and maximize network performance.
Replace, update, and program network devices.
Propose new network projects, submit requisition requests, track project status, and collaborate with suppliers on testing, acceptance, and delivery.
Assist with new employee computer setup and release and revoke network and equipment access to terminated employees.
Manage IT related assets like hardware and software to ensure IT asset record accuracy.
Manage security camera system, including user and permission management.
Manage customer portal user access and permission.
