About The Position

As an IT EHR Enterprise Business Analyst, you will support the administration, optimization, and integration of Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management systems within a healthcare environment. This role requires strong business analysis, healthcare technology, and stakeholder management expertise to ensure system reliability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with clinical and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience supporting complex healthcare systems.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting EHR and Practice Management systems in healthcare or clinical environments.
  • Proven experience with system implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support activities.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR operations, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HL7 standards, healthcare integrations, and interoperability concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and supporting enterprise software applications.
  • Experience using REST APIs, Postman, Swagger, and related integration or testing tools.
  • Proficiency with issue-tracking and ticket management systems such as JIRA and Ivanti.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including advanced Windows operating system support and IT security knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clinical, business, and technical stakeholders to gather and document EHR system requirements.
  • Support the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of EHR and Practice Management systems.
  • Manage EHR updates, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities.
  • Work closely with development teams to support HL7 integrations and interoperability initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Analyze clinical workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Generate reports and provide insights that support clinical and administrative decision-making.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including requirements, issue logs, and JIRA tickets.
  • Utilize tools such as REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Provide end-user support, training assistance, and stakeholder communication throughout project and operational activities.
