SUMMARY Under the direction of the IT Manager, the Desktop Support Technician ensures proper computer operation so end users can efficiently perform business tasks. Responsibilities include receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving help requests. Resolution may involve diagnostic tools and hands-on assistance at the desktop level. The technician also supports and maintains in-house technology and IT assets, including installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading corporate hardware and equipment for optimal performance.
