The IT Craft Support Specialist is a field-focused IT generalist who provides hands-on and virtual support for Interstates jobsites, regional offices, and project locations. The role supports craft workers, site supervisors, and project teams by keeping hardware, software, connectivity, and standard IT processes working reliably. Travel to key jobsites is required during ramp-up periods, outages, routine maintenance, and craft-focused events, and may take up to 50% of the employee’s time depending on business needs. When not traveling, the Specialist handles standard IT support tickets from the Tulsa, Omaha, or Sioux Falls office and remains engaged with the IT Support team. The Specialist also serves as a subject-matter expert for jobsite and craft technology, documenting best practices, creating knowledge articles and SOPs, and helping standardize support so issues can be resolved without requiring a site visit. The position requires willingness and ability to travel to jobsites and regional offices, including construction environments, a valid driver’s license, and ability to meet company travel requirements. The stated pay range is $51,910 to $64,890, plus benefits; compensation depends on job-related skills, training, education, and experience.
