About The Position

The IT Coordinator is responsible for maintaining membership at an Every Nation church and managing the department's Help Desk systems. This role involves performing IT-related tasks for employee onboarding, transitions, and offboarding, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technology problems. The IT Coordinator also manages the selection, purchase, configuration, and deployment of computer systems and peripherals, and ensures timely repair and documentation of technology devices. Additionally, this position coordinates training programs, manages IT Department tasks through meeting notes, processes purchasing card transactions, and administers domain name purchases. The IT Coordinator assists the IT Director with technology projects and identifies recurring technology issues to recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Two years' experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in typical business operating systems and applications on the desktop and web (macOS, iPadOS, Windows, file management, word processing, worksheets, presentations, Internet browsers, calendaring, email, messaging, videoconferencing, and project management).
  • Capable of being well-organized, attentive to detail, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Adept at perceiving and analyzing problems, developing alternatives, recommending sound solutions, and documenting procedures.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively on a team.
  • Effective at communicating verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain membership at an Every Nation church.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Google Workspace, Zoom Workplace, and mobile device management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the department's Help Desk systems as the primary conduit of customer requests by assigning, escalating, and ensuring the timely resolution of submitted tickets.
  • Perform employee onboarding, transition, and off boarding IT-related tasks, including adding, editing, and deleting users from technology systems.
  • Avert, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve basic technology problems using the mobile device management system, department colleagues, and other resources.
  • Coordinate the topics and measure the impact of the department's training programs for Nashville office staff.
  • Manage the selection, purchase, configuration, and deployment of computer systems and peripherals for the Nashville office staff.
  • Manage the timely repair of technology devices as needed and communicate their repair status to users.
  • Manage and document the disposal of computer systems and peripherals, with an understanding of applicable electronic waste disposal regulations.
  • Ensure accurate meeting notes and action items are recorded and assigned to organize the IT Department's tasks.
  • Process the department's purchasing card transactions.
  • Administrate Every Nation's domain name purchases, renewals, and reporting requirement.
  • Watch for recurring technology issues, inform the IT Director of problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist the IT Director with technology projects and tasks.
