About The Position

As a national Indigenous, non-partisan association, we champion inclusivity and innovation, and we’re looking for a motivated IT Coordinator Intern to support Help Desk operations while contributing to workflow improvements, automation, and IT reporting. This role is ideal for a 3rd or 4th year university student looking to turn classroom learning into real‑world impact.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of IT, Computer Science, or related program
  • Interest in Help Desk operations, IT workflows, and process improvement
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS and networking fundamentals
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and customer service mindset
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to ticketing systems, automation, scripting, or data visualization
  • Experience in customer service or technical support

Responsibilities

  • Provide first‑level IT support in a remote environment
  • Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and access issues
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective
  • Document and improve Help Desk workflows and processes
  • Assist with automation opportunities and basic IT dashboards or reports
  • Support system maintenance, user accounts, and asset tracking
