About The Position
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.
Requirements
- Current Junior/Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in an IT-related field at an accredited university
- Experience with computer components, Windows operating systems, and software
- U.S. Citizenship required
Nice To Haves
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance a plus
Responsibilities
- Shadow senior IT staff to learn troubleshooting and system administration
- Participate in IT projects (e.g., system upgrades, migrations)
- Suggest improvements for workflows based on observations
- Assist in running antivirus scans and patch updates
- Help prepare devices for new hires (imaging, configuration)
- Track and update IT equipment inventory (laptops, peripherals, licenses)
- Respond to basic helpdesk tickets under supervision
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for employees
- Assist with minor facility issues/repairs
- Assist with building visitor access and reconciliation
