About The Position

The IT Consultant II supports, manages, and plans IT infrastructure for multiple corporate clients, primarily small businesses with little or no in-house IT expertise. The role works mainly in Windows environments and provides service remotely and on-site. It includes reviewing infrastructure, advising on projects, and contributing to strategic planning with the WorkSmart team and clients, as well as limited on-call responsibilities. Employees work at client sites, in the company office, and remotely, with approximately 80% local travel to client sites.

Requirements

• Able to work on-site with clients and convey calm confidence when facing unexpected challenges or new technology.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, with 80% local travel.
• 3–5 years administering Windows servers, including Exchange and SQL.
• 3–5 years providing user support in a corporate environment.
• 3–5 years managing network equipment such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
• 3–5 years administering and troubleshooting Office 365 environments, including Mail, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• 3–5 years administering virtual environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Desire and ability to learn new technology.

Nice To Haves

• 1–5 years of Azure experience.
