About The Position

American National is seeking an IT Client Support Associate to provide desktop support. Desktop support involves diagnostic, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services for computers and similar devices, delivered locally or remotely. This associate role is the first level of the ECSG job family and performs basic functions related to managing the lifecycle of hardware and software.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience.
• At least one year of information technology service management or desktop support experience.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service and support.
• Basic knowledge of personal computers and related peripherals.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• Preference for experience in positions emphasizing customer service and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic troubleshooting assistance and resolve tickets for personal computer users.
• Provide basic triage and support for multifunction and desktop printer technologies.
• Configure and deploy PCs, laptops, Macs, and hardware accessories efficiently and accurately so users can become productive with minimal impact.
• Develop the ability to apply software patches to PCs and laptops.
• Provide customer service in person, over the phone, or through remote support.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
