About The Position

Abbott's Cancer Diagnostics Division is focused on transforming the way cancer is detected, diagnosed, and managed. This internship program offers students a meaningful, professional, hands-on experience in Information Technology. Interns will work on impactful projects, learn from senior leaders, and develop their careers within a global healthcare leader. The program is designed for students with proven academic performance and problem-solving potential, majoring in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Product Design, Business Administration, Data Science/Business Analytics, and UX/UI Design & Research.

Requirements

  • Completed at least one year of college coursework prior to the start of the internship.
  • Candidates must be returning to school following the internship assignment.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Technical Support Analyst candidates should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
  • URx/UI candidates should be pursuing a degree in Product Design, Business Administration, Data Science/Business Analytics, Industrial Design or UX/UI Design & Research.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Must have a strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
