About The Position

The IT Business Analyst plays a key role in the management of requests and delivery of IT projects. You are responsible for solving internal customer challenges, analyzing, and defining business requirements, and participating in the definition and implementation of solutions. Your day will look like this: Continuously contributing to D365 F&O ERP evolution initiatives and to the development of other application solutions. You will be working closely with the Product Owners and development teams. Supporting the Scrum Master or Project Manager, you will help identify potential issues to ensure that business objectives, schedules and budgets are met and that the team is working efficiently.

Requirements

  • Education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Finance Information Systems, computer science or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Financial Systems Analyst.
  • Fluency in both official languages, oral and written
  • Proficient in the main D365 F&O financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Credit and collections, Fixed assets, Cash and Bank management, Budgeting, Consolidations, Project Management and accounting)
  • Proficient in the Financial Report Add in (MR)
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts.
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to support non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and rigorous in documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within Electronic commerce an asset

Responsibilities

  • Understand the business context and the impact of projects or changes on the organization's processes
  • Facilitate the collection of information, analyze and document business needs and the needs of all internal customers
  • Work with Product Owners and Solution Architects to recommend the best business solutions
  • Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities aligned with D365 F&O best practices.
  • Transform needs and requirements into a functional and technical model for the development team
  • Coordinate with internal customers and the development team
  • Define test cases and execute functional testing of solutions
  • Prepare user training and transition to operations. Provide support during the stabilization of the implemented solution
  • Analyze, investigate and resolve problems/bugs
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the IT systems, recommending the prioritization of evolution requests and identifying avenues for continuous improvement.
