About The Position

SIA Innovations is a consulting firm specializing in digital transformation, at the forefront of AI and hybrid cloud. Located in downtown Montreal, they work with Fortune 500 companies and leading public sector organizations across Quebec, Ontario, the Caribbean, and the United States, guiding them in reshaping their business models and building AI-driven, data-centric enterprises. Their purpose is to continuously raise the bar for expected business performance through applied innovation powered by technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related field. Minimum GPA of 3.5 required; a Master's degree is an asset.
  • Business analysis fundamentals: requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and use case documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as ClickUp, Mural, FigJam, Figma, or Miro.
  • Fundamental understanding of IT architecture concepts, sufficient to collaborate with technical teams.
  • Basic knowledge of data literacy and exposure to analytical tools, including SQL, Python, prompt engineering, or large language model (LLM) interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and communication platforms like Webex or Slack.
  • Full professional bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, is required.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills: ability to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives for any audience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in consulting engagements helping clients rethink their business processes with IBM's AI and hybrid cloud technologies.
  • Contribute to R&D initiatives developing SIA's new intellectual property and proprietary methodologies.
  • Conduct applied research to enhance SIA's service offerings and delivery frameworks.
  • Support the integration of new team members into SIA's tools, processes, and culture.
  • Maintain an active professional presence in IBM TechXchange communities, industry meetups, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather needs, document requirements, and manage expectations with clarity.
  • Estimate, plan, and coordinate project activities, keeping all parties informed throughout the mandate lifecycle.
  • Design test plans, support testing phases, and deliver end-user training.
  • Ensure complete delivery coordination: tasks, communications, dependencies, and progress tracking through client approval.
  • Support technical leads by managing schedules, tracking task interdependencies, and preparing progress reports.
  • Contribute to business development through participation in exploratory meetings, client presentations, and proposal development.
  • Guide new team members through SIA's culture, work methods, and professional standards.
  • Develop your professional brand through LinkedIn activity and engagement in the IBM partner community.
  • Participate in SIA corporate events, IBM and Arrow training sessions, client relations activities, and industry conferences.
  • Prepare and present monthly internal knowledge-sharing presentations on IBM products and emerging technologies.
  • Actively participate in your assigned IBM TechXchange community.
  • Contribute to the design of innovative, operationally viable, and sustainable solutions.
  • Participate in continuous research and experimental development to refine SIA's methodologies and service offerings.
  • With your project team, assume shared responsibility for business outcomes.
  • Manage project delivery end-to-end: activities, communications, and progress tracking.
  • Support the marketing and sales team through participation in exploratory meetings, development of business cases, and responses to RFPs.
  • Lighten the administrative load of technical leads by managing schedules, interdependencies, and resource availability.
