About The Position

Henry Ford Health is seeking an IT Automation Solution Architect to join their Automation Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for identifying business problems, designing, implementing, and coordinating automation solutions across various business processes including Access and Revenue Cycle, ERP, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain. The architect will apply a deep understanding of automation technologies such as RPA, AI, ML, and API integrations to optimize and streamline operations. Working under the general direction of the Automation Program Manager and Director/Leadership, the position involves collaborating with business and IT teams to understand processes, identify automation use cases, develop ROI, and design robust automation architectures. The role requires creating detailed architectural documents, coordinating development and implementation using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring best practices in coding, security, and compliance, and integrating solutions with enterprise applications. The architect will also design and implement API integrations, utilize various Microsoft technologies and programming languages, provide technical guidance, develop testing strategies, monitor and troubleshoot solutions, and stay current with automation trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
  • Five (5) years in the position above, as a Lead Solution Architect, as a Technical Project Lead, as a Sr. Software Engineer, as an Automation Lead, as an Assistant Consultant, or in a related occupation.
  • Three (3) years of experience using all of the following: Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, SSRS, REST Services, SDLC, SharePoint, JavaScript, Python, NLP and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the identification and understanding of business problems.
  • Oversee the overall design, implementation, and automation solutions coordination across various business processes including Access and Revenue Cycle, ERP, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Support the continual advancement of automation in Business Applications.
  • Apply a deep understanding of automation technologies, including RPA, AI, ML, and API integrations, to optimize and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with client business and IT/technical teams through shadowing and process mapping to understand business processes, identify automation use cases and assist in development of ROI.
  • Develop and design automation solutions and architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Create detailed architectural documents and diagrams to communicate design decisions.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of automation solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Ensure best practices are followed in coding standards, security, and compliance.
  • Work with various stakeholders to integrate automation solutions with existing systems, including Revenue Cycle, ERP, CRM and other enterprise applications.
  • Design and implement API integrations to facilitate seamless data flow between systems.
  • Utilize and apply knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, SSRS, REST Services, SDLC, SharePoint, JavaScript, Python, NLP and predictive analytics to complete assigned tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and consulting services to the internal IT and operational teams.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the robustness and reliability of automation solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automations solutions, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies.
