About The Position

Owner is seeking an IT Associate to manage the complete technology experience for their San Francisco office, executive team, and warehouse operations. This role involves ensuring devices, networks, conference rooms, and operational systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. The IT Associate will also be responsible for developing processes, automation, documentation, and infrastructure to support the company's rapid growth and efficient operation. The ideal candidate is adept at real-time troubleshooting, executive support, and designing scalable systems to prevent future issues. This position requires hands-on work in the South San Francisco warehouse and occasional travel to merchant sites.

Requirements

  • Strong fluency in macOS is essential.
  • Solid working knowledge of iOS.
  • Experience managing device fleets end-to-end (MDM enrollment, imaging, asset tracking).
  • Proficiency in networking fundamentals, including configuring APs, troubleshooting connectivity, and basic VLAN/WiFi work.
  • Administrative-level experience with tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack.
  • Ability to operate in a role with significant ownership and autonomy.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders, demonstrating proactivity, discretion, and efficiency.
  • Comfort with ChromeOS and Android is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the IT backbone for the San Francisco office, ensuring technology is seamless for employees and executives, including fast hardware, reliable WiFi, and functional conference rooms.
  • Provide high-level device and AV support to the executive and leadership team, preventing technical disruptions during critical meetings and calls.
  • Develop and implement scalable IT systems, including asset management, onboarding processes, and network infrastructure, to support company growth.
  • Manage and maintain the IT stack for the warehouse team, including scanners, terminals, and printers, ensuring their uptime, documentation, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with Security and Platform teams to ensure endpoint security, MDM configuration, and SaaS access controls are robust and scalable.
  • Support all teams within the company, acting as a trusted partner for various technical needs.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and improve IT workflows.
