Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience delivering technical customer service preferred
  • Willingness to learn and help others
  • Strong communication skills necessary to work with all levels of Smarty
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in problem solving
  • Experience working with Linux Shell scripting
  • Aware of System and Organization Controls Reporting (SOC2)

Responsibilities

  • Provide Smarty team members with general troubleshooting services, problem solving, and training
  • Research, procure, manage, configure, and support employee equipment, including laptops, phones, monitors, peripherals, printers, desks, chairs, etc.
  • Procure and allocate software licenses and subscriptions
  • Track, manage, and disperse company assets
  • Configure and update network equipment, including routers, switches, cables, wireless access points, and firmware
  • Configure and manage the Smarty phone system
  • Ensure that Smarty assets are safe and secure, performing regular audits while installing and managing physical devices
  • Develop protocols and assist with creating policies and procedures to meet the needs of an evolving business landscape
  • Manage Smarty facilities to maintain performance standards, including HVAC, elevator, furniture, installations, etc.
  • Complete special projects, from remodels and rebuilds to workstation optimization
  • Engage primarily in face-to-face and in-person coordination of work with other team members to align IT-specific activities with organizational objectives
