About The Position

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Asset Manager (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing IT asset life cycles, budgeting for IT resources, and maintaining vendor relationships. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and a strong commitment to ensuring the efficient and secure management of IT assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field; or 5 - 7 years of related experience with 3+ years in management.
• Proven expertise in managing IT asset life cycles.
• Strong understanding of budgeting for IT resources.
• Excellent skills in managing vendor relationships and negotiations.
• Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
• Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
• TS/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities

• IT Asset Management: Oversee the entire IT asset life cycle, from acquisition to disposal.
• Implement and maintain IT asset management policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with asset management standards.
• Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for IT assets.
• Analyze cost-effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) for IT assets.
• Collaborate with finance teams to forecast IT asset-related expenses.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Evaluate vendor performance and manage any issues or disputes.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure all IT assets comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the security team to implement measures that protect IT assets from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Maintain TS/SCI clearance and adhere to all security protocols.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on IT asset performance, utilization, and costs.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
• Track metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of IT asset management practices.
