About The Position

The Bay Family of Companies is seeking a customer-focused IT Applications Manager with Microsoft ERP systems knowledge, business acumen, and problem-solving skills. The position manages a team of business systems analysts, architects, and external consultants to deliver improvements to Bay’s ERP and supporting systems and applications. The manager provides expertise and guidance on business process alignment and business system functionality, and works with other Bay teams to lead projects involving program change, acquisition integration, and application upgrades.

Requirements

10+ years of enterprise experience deploying and maintaining ERP systems and enterprise applications.
7+ years of progressive experience managing implementation, integration, and operations of enterprise-level applications across a variety of technology footprints.
In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting processes.
Experience supporting ERP systems across multiple companies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with database structure and relationship modeling.
Strong business process, application configuration, troubleshooting, and ERP knowledge.
Ability to identify customer needs, systematically gather relevant information, and resolve problems.
Ability to develop effective teams and mentor teammates.
Ability to present ideas in concise, business-, technical-, and user-friendly language.
High degree of personal initiative.
Effective communication, presentation, organizational, and planning skills.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a similar technical discipline is desired.
Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 experience is desired; experience with NetSuite, Epicor, JDE, or SAP may be considered instead.
Knowledge of the support and use of Management Reporter, EDI, SSRS, and data warehousing is desired.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of ERP system configuration and end-user support, particularly for Microsoft Dynamics AX / 365 Finance & Operations.
Work with business and technology leaders to align business system solutions with business goals and processes.
Manage systems and software integration projects.
Provide project management leadership for ERP-related acquisition activities.
Establish standards, methodologies, and documentation for business system configuration and application integration.
Use internal and outsourced resources to facilitate delivery.
Direct and ensure the quality of the application team’s support for daily business operations, and provide technical leadership to team members on business system project teams.
Manage planning and implementation of enterprise services design, including ERP system and other platform solution configuration, integration, and maintenance.
Participate in major contract negotiations for software and support services related to business systems and applications.
Ensure projects meet business and end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Review and analyze business applications for functionality, maintainability, and operational effectiveness, then develop strategies to improve or leverage them.
