About The Position

The PACCAR Parts Summer Internship Program offers students an opportunity to learn about PACCAR through an IT Applications work assignment. Interns participate in division and department meetings, activities, and events, and contribute to the organization while developing their experience. At the end of the internship, interns may present their accomplishments to fellow interns and senior management. The IT Applications intern will explore using AI to automate change impact assessments by analyzing source code, business process documentation, and system dependencies. The work aims to identify affected programs, files, interfaces, processes, dependencies, and business rules; develop testing scenarios and regression test requirements; improve project estimates, planning, and resource forecasting; reduce manual analysis time; and help prevent delays caused by late discovery of requirements or use cases. PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services for Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF, and TRP dealers. The company supports its global dealer and customer network through distribution centers, customer centers, and its supply chain.
