About The Position

Provide expert-level AV and IT support for both live events and classroom technology. Serve as a lead technician for high-profile, technically complex events and support day-to-day classroom technology operations. Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and execution of campus events by assisting with IT and A/V setup and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of A/V and IT equipment for campus events.
  • Monitor and support A/V equipment during live events (e.g., microphones, projectors, sound systems, A/V accessories).
  • Provide on-site assistance during events, including basic troubleshooting and tech support.
  • Communicate with event staff, faculty, and IT supervisors to ensure needs are met regarding issues and scheduling.
  • Assist with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and proper storage.
  • Uphold safety standards and follow proper procedures for equipment handling.
  • Represent the university professionally while engaging with event guests and participants.
