About The Position

The IT Analyst – POS & Payments will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the technology platforms that enable retail transactions across our stores and digital channels. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of POS systems, payment gateways, and related integrations, while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or business analysis, preferably in retail or payments.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems (e.g., NCR, Oracle Micros, Verifone, GK) and payment platforms (e.g., Adyen, Stripe, PayPal).
  • Understanding payment processing workflows, EMV, NFC, and mobile wallets.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud based (Infrastructure, Platform and/or Software as a Service) applications and vendors.
  • Relevant experience with ITIL tools (e.g. Atlassian, ServiceNow) and collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Teams).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across IT disciplines and teams including third parties.
  • Will need to be available for after hours’ on-call and system monitoring.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for POS and payment systems, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of transaction platforms.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of new POS features, payment methods, and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver enhancements aligned with business needs.
  • Gather and document business requirements for POS and payment-related initiatives.
  • Analyze transaction data and system logs to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure payment systems comply with PCI-DSS and other relevant security standards.
  • Support audits and implement controls to safeguard customer payment data.
  • Work closely with Retail Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience teams to understand pain points and deliver solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
