About The Position

As an IT Analyst – Executive IT, you will provide premium, high‑touch technology support to executives and executive assistants. This role requires strong technical skills, sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion in high‑visibility and time‑sensitive situations. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (completed and verified prior to start)
  • One (1) year of experience in help desk or on‑site PC support
  • One (1) year of experience providing technical customer service in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • One (1) year of experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 or Microsoft 365 services
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in help desk or on‑site PC support
  • Experience supporting iOS devices and enterprise mobility solutions
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills when interacting with all levels of leadership
  • Experience supporting executive‑level or client‑facing IT services with a high degree of professionalism
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools, service SLAs, and handling high‑priority or sensitive incidents

Responsibilities

  • Deliver white‑glove, personalized technology support for executives and their assistants, ensuring reliability and consistency across all interactions.
  • Act as a trusted technical partner, balancing responsiveness with security, compliance, and risk awareness.
  • Maintain professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive executive and business matters.
  • Coordinate and provide end‑to‑end technical support for executive meetings and high‑profile events.
  • Support Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), conferencing platforms, and AV solutions in hybrid and in‑person environments.
  • Proactively validate meeting readiness, perform pre‑checks, and troubleshoot issues in real time to minimize business impact.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, connectivity, and performance issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
  • Handle escalations involving operating system updates, device performance, collaboration tools, identity/access constraints, and network dependencies.
  • Partner with internal IT teams, vendors, and platform owners to drive root cause resolution and long‑term improvements.
  • Manage ordering, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle support for standard and non‑standard PCs, mobile devices, peripherals, and executive accessories.
  • Support executive‑specific configurations, specialized software, and non‑standard setups while adhering to security and compliance standards.
  • Assist with secure onboarding, offboarding, device refreshes, and approved data transfer processes.
  • Anticipate executive technology needs and proactively address risks before they escalate.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to urgent and high priority requests with minimal disruption.
  • Accurately document incidents, service requests, and resolutions using ITSM tools and Executive Support processes.
  • Participate in client focused IT initiatives such as device modernization, workflow improvements, and executive experience enhancements.
  • Develop skills in service reporting, automation, and continuous improvement practices over time.
  • Contribute to standardization efforts, documentation, and service quality improvements led by Executive IT management.
  • Provide on‑site support at executive locations as needed.
  • Occasional travel may be required within the surrounding area.
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
  • Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
