About The Position

The IT Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, cybersecurity, business intelligence systems, and end-user support. This role ensures the reliability of technology systems supporting manufacturing operations, ERP platforms, production processes, shop floor technologies, and enterprise reporting.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of IT administration or systems support experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, data modeling, and SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or cloud platforms.
  • Certifications such as Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or CCNA.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and monitor servers, networks, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
  • Work with centralized IT team to manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address infrastructure issues.
  • Ensure system availability and minimize downtime for business-critical applications.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across office and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, printer, and mobile device issues.
  • Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices including endpoint protection and MFA.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and system updates.
  • Support compliance requirements and security standards.
  • Support ERP systems, MES platforms, barcode scanners, shop floor PCs, and production technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for operations, quality, inventory, production, and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify KPI and reporting requirements.
  • Create data models, visualizations, and automated reports using Power BI.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
  • Support integrations between manufacturing equipment, business systems, and reporting tools.
  • Work with centralized IT team to manage Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
  • Perform system backups and disaster recovery testing.
  • Maintain software licensing and IT asset inventories.
  • Configure and support VMware or Hyper-V environments.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
  • Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Evaluate hardware and software solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures.
