About The Position

This IT Administrator role supports a busy healthcare organization by managing administrative tasks and providing basic technical assistance to ensure clinicians have reliable access to the tools and systems they need. The position combines hands-on IT support, such as setting up computers and resolving connectivity issues, with organized paperwork management in a fast-paced medical environment.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of basic IT experience.
  • Experience with data entry and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot connection issues, including Wi-Fi and MiFi devices.
  • Basic knowledge of setting up computers, laptops, and related equipment.
  • Experience installing and supporting printers.
  • Strong organizational skills for filing and managing paperwork.
  • Customer service skills, particularly in a front desk or clerical setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a healthcare or medical environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field is ideal.
  • Experience working in a health center or busy medical environment.
  • Comfort interacting with clinicians and staff in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Good communication skills to explain basic IT issues and solutions to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

  • File and organize paperwork accurately to ensure clinicians have clean, complete, and easily accessible documentation.
  • Maintain orderly filing systems and update records as needed to support clinical operations.
  • Set up computers, laptops, and related equipment for clinicians and staff.
  • Configure and connect power strips to laptops and MiFi chargers, ensuring all devices are properly connected and fully functional.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi and MiFi devices, to minimize downtime.
  • Connect laptops to MiFi devices and verify secure and stable connections.
  • Identify and resolve issues with AnyConnect not connecting correctly with MiFi devices.
  • Install printers and ensure they are configured correctly for end users.
  • Assist with printer-related issues, including connectivity, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Provide basic customer service and front desk support related to IT and administrative needs.
  • Support clinicians and staff with general clerical and IT-related questions in a professional and timely manner.
